CHSA will hold its Annual Meeting on Tuesday January 9, 2007, at the Courtyard By Marriott, Cromwell. This meeting is open to all CHSA members. A Social Hour at 7:30 will precede the meeting which will begin at 8:00 PM.

Point Standings in the ATC include the top twelve competitors in each division for all shows from December 1, 2005 through November 30, 2006. To be eligible for awards, horse or riders must have earned a minimum of 15 points. Awards will be presented to 8th place in Junior classes and to 6th place in all others.

All points listed here, unless corrected, will become final on January 5, 2007.
Check your ATC point standing now. It is the responsibility of each member to keep track of his or her own points and write or call immediately if there is a recording error. In fairness to other competitors, after a reasonable time period, we cannot go back and redo the point standings.
CHSA will be submitting the year-end champion award winners to the Chronicle for publication in their Annual Horse Show Issue which goes to press in March. The Chronicle has asked for photo shots of division champions (only) in the hunter, jumper and hunt seat equitation divisions. Photographs must be 2006 original action shots of champions, no smaller than 3½” x 5” or larger than 8” x 10” and they must be submitted by CHSA. Proofs, any copy of a photo, emailed photos, photos that are not clear, digital images or vignetted prints and photos will not be accepted. Professional photo's must include the photographers’ written permission to submit the picture.

It's that time of year again . . . . The CHSA auction acquisition drive to benefit our annual scholarships. The Auction will take place during the CHSA Awards Banquet Saturday, March 3, 2007.
We are looking for new, useable auction items. There will be two categories . . . the Children's Raffle Tables ( items for the under 16 year olds) and the general Silent Auction Tables. Items do not have to be horse related.
Last year was extremely helpful that items were dropped off before the night of the banquet. Drop off points during December, January & February:
