In an effort to move the presentation of the awards more fluid, and less rushed, allowing more time for photographs, the Board of Directors decided to change the format of the Awards Banquet extra-curricular activities.
We will once again have the big screens which list the winners, and we intend to follow the order of presentations as listed in the programs.
There will be no more Silent Auction. Instead we will offer two raffles, a Junior Raffle and an Adult Raffle. When the tickets are chosen, the numbers will be posted up on the big screens so there are no long pauses while folks round up their tickets and compare numbers. A reasonable time period will be allowed for collection of the items.
We are looking for new, useable raffle items. As in prior years, it is not necessary that these items be specifically horse related. Once again it is very helpful if items are dropped off before the banquet so that they may be identified by donor, listed in the program and arranged carefully at the banquet.
Raffle items may be dropped off to Cynthia at the Westbrook Horse Show Jan.16-18 & Mystic Valley Horse show on February 14 or to Rene Scarpantonio at the Sweetwater Show on January 28 or to Dick Jones at End of Hunt Farm March 1.
