This annual award was given by his family to honor the memory of Hal A. Vita Sr., founder of Shallowbrook Equestrian Center. Hal was a notable horseman for many decades, who would often encouraged a dedicated student regardless of his or her ability to pay for services. The award is open to all CHSA members (or someone in their immediate family) who do selfless acts of kindness, such as volunteering, to benefit the horse community without expectation of acknowledgement or praise.
Please send a short email explaining the nominee’s acts of kindness and reasons he or she should receive this award. The award will be presented at the Celebration of Champions dinner on March 7th, 2015.
Please send your nomination by Monday, February 9, 2015 via email to Deb Krawitz – email@example.com
